After having owned and managed H.Salb International, a used clothes grading and wiper rags manufacturing plant in Toronto, Canada for over 15 years, the decision was taken to shift operations to the Karachi, Pakistan Export Processing Zone in 2004 and form Retex Global (Pvt) Limited.

The company was the first second hand clothes grading facility in the Karachi, Pakistan Export Processing Zone. We started in a rented premise of 40,000 sq. ft. and have since emerged as the leading grader of second hand clothing in Pakistan. Today we process over 4,500,000 lbs per month of material in a newly constructed building of more than 260,000 sq. ft. optimized for our operational methods and future growth.

Majority of our material is sourced from various charity organizations and their partners in the United States, Canada, and Australia and processed to produce top quality second hand clothing, second hand shoes, premium fashionable clothing, vintage clothing, used soft and hard toys, recyclable textiles, and reclaimed wiping cloths.
